Worship Our Way (WOW)

Worship Our Way (WOW) - 11:20 am in the chapel.  Children begin in the worship service and then go on WOW.  WOW allows children in K-5th grade to experience a style of worship that's tailored just to them. Music and activities geared to help children learn about lots of different ways to worship God are mixed with learning about what all of the different aspects of worship mean.

Our Nursery

Located on the bottom floor of the education building in rooms E106 and E108, provides care to infants, and toddlers during worship, Sunday School and other special scheduled times. Also, much like the nursery, care and a structured environment are provided for children aged two through five years of age during worship and other scheduled times. Sunday school for ages two through five is at 9:45 am each Sunday Mornings.

Kids R.O.C.K. (Rely on Christ the King)

Come on out for snack supper, fun, fellowship, games and devotions! This group for 3rd-5th grade meets on Sundays from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Don't forget to bring $1.50 for the snack supper. Occasionally we'll also meet for putt-putt, pool parties and other fun outings!

Wednesday Evenings


Supper

The whole family can join us for a home-cooked dinner which is served from 5:45 to 6:45 pm every Wednesday from September through May.

Music Ministry

 

Cherub Choir (ages 4 years as of 9/1/2010 through 1st grade)
Meets on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:00 pm in room 110.

This introductory choir includes boys and girls in pre-k through fifth grade.  This fun, educational choral setting will teach our children both worship readiness skills and the fundamentals of music.  The use of movement and rhythem will be emphasized.  These young musicians will participate in the traditional and contemporary worship services in the fall and spring.  Please contact Joyce at 770-921-8512 ext. 28 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Junior Choir (2nd - 6th grade)
Meets on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:00 pm in Rooms109.
Nancy Parker, conductor

 

This choir is open to all children in 2nd - 6th grades.  This setting offers the opportunity to build on the music fundamentals and vocal production learned in the Cherub choir.  Children will add sight-reading and part-singing to their musical skill set.  Rehearsals will incorporate the use of handbells and movement to enhance reading and rhythm abilities.  The choir will participate periodically in worship services.  Please contact Nancy at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Week Day Preschool


This is a week day program for children ages 12 months through 4 years of age. This is designed to promote the social, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth of each child. Each child is accepted as an individual with the understanding that each child develops at their own rate. Daily activities include music, arts and crafts, group activities, outdoor play all planned around developing appropriate social skills in a Christian environment.
