United Methodist Women

 

Mountain Park United Methodist Women (UMW) invite all women to participate in their work of faith and be a part of their fast-growing, supportive community.

 

They are a community of women from all walks of life who nurture and encourage one another in spiritual growth and developement.  Women join UMW to develop spiritually and intellectually, to provide leadership, to meet other women and to be involved in the many outreach missions supported by the UMW.

 

The UMW are involved in various programs :

  • Mother/Daughter Banquet
  • DFACS and Lilburn Co-op Book Bag and Easter Basket projects

  • UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) kits

  • Women in Crisis programs
  • Child advocacy programs
  • Support of church events and missions

  • Trinity Soup Kitchen
